ROG’s new roster of Intel 12th Gen gaming laptops was just launched during their Unleash the Legend Inside digital launch event.
The new lineup is led by the ROG Flow Z13 together with new improved models of the ROG Strix SCAR, ROG Zephyrus M16, TUF Dash F15, and TUF Gaming F15/F17. At the heart of these models is the new 12th Generation Intel Core mobile processors. With the combination of its Performance cores and Efficient cores, it delivers scalable, multi-threaded performance that works seamlessly with the operating system.

Also powering the new line of 12th gen gaming laptops is NVIDIA’s new RTX GPUs up to an RTX 3080 Ti. It delivers ray tracing and the best graphics performance possible on a mobile device. In addition, users will now have a choice between maximum graphical performance and extreme battery life. This is thanks to the MUX switch that is featured across all product lines, event for the TUF Gaming lineup.
ROG Flow Z13 – One Device, Infinite Play
The new ROG Flow Z13 leads the new 12th gen gaming laptops. It combines the best aspects of tablet mobility with PC versatility to create an all-new gaming experience. With a tablet form factor, the Z13 stays incredibly light and slim at just 1.1 kg and 12 mm thick. Though light and slim, it still packs the gaming power of much larger devices. It is also built to accommodate all styles of play, mouse, gamepad, and touch.
Inspired by the ROG Mothership, the Flow Z13 houses all its components behind the screen. This allows it to stand above a desk when use, granting much better access to fresh air for cooling. In addition, the lack of a hinge allows it to have extra space inside for a wider vapor chamber and larger fans.
The signature feature of the ROG Flow Z13 is its screen cover. It also works as a fully functional detachable RGB keyboard with 1.7 mm of travel. It also has a built-in kickstand that can be opened to 170° for optimal usage in nearly any scenario. Its Full HD 120Hz 13-inch 16:10 Touchscreen Display also feature Dolby Vision, Pantone Validation, Adaptive Sync, 100% sRGB coverage, and Corning Gorilla Glass protection. This allows gamers to enjoy incredible picture quality whether playing the latest touch-enabled game or the latest Triple A title.
Under the hood, the device packs plenty of gaming horsepower in an ultra-thin and light chassis. It has up to a 14-core Intel Core i7-12700H CPU, an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3050 GPU, a MUX Switch, and 5200 MHz LPDDR5 memory. For extra gaming horsepower and I/O expansion, the Flow Z13 and the updated 2022 Flow X13 are compatible with the XG Mobile line of external GPUs. This includes this year’s new addition to the XG Mobile family, which includes an AMD Radeon RX 6850M XT GPU. It also has additional USB ports, DisplayPort, HDMI, and Ethernet.

ROG Strix SCAR 15/17 – No-Holds-Barred Powerhouse
The ROG Strix SCAR 15 and 17 will be powered by up to an Intel Core i9-12900H CPU. It is also paired with up to an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3080 Ti GPU with a 150W max TGP. Next-gen DDR5 RAM clocked at 4800 MHz and a PCIe Gen 4×4 SSD also keeps the machine feeling responsive and snappy. Liquid metal is also used on the laptops CPU for improved heat transfer. It has also been updated to use Thermal Grizzly’s latest Conductonaut Extreme solution.
This year’s Strix SCAR 15 and 17 offers a QHD 240Hz resolution panel with Dolby Vision and Adaptive Sync with 100% DCI-P3 color accuracy. Dolby Atmos and Hi-Res audio support are also available. HDMI 2.1 port for 4K/120Hz or 8K displays and Thunderbolt 4 are also available. For users who want to personalize their SCAR, customizable Armor Caps and Keystone 2 from the previous version are also available.

ROG Zephyrus M16 – Thrill Your Senses to the Next Level
The Zephyrus M16 is one of the first ROG laptops to feature the ROG’s brand-new Nebula display. It offers 16:10 aspect ratio with 165Hz refresh rate and QHD resolution. It also offers 500 nits of peak brightness, 100% DCI-P3 color gamut coverage, and a 3ms response time. Lastly, the display also features Dolby Vision, Adaptive Sync, and Pantone validation.

TUF Gaming Series – Brillinace and Endurance
The TUF Gaming 12th gen gaming laptops are built on the core principle of providing gamers with fantastic performance without breaking the bank. The new TUF Gaming F15 and F17 is inspired by mecha anime, available in the Jaeger Gray and Mecha Gray design options. These machines meet the MIL-STD-810H specification and are tested to withstand intense heat, cold, humidity, and vibration.
The devices are also now upgraded with the 12th Generation Intel Core i7-12700H CPU. It is paired with an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3060 laptop GPU with a much higher 140W max TGP. They will also feature a hardware MUX switch and DDR5 4800MHz RAM. This means that these laptops are the best options with unmatched value for money.
Fast-paced gaming also requires high refresh rate displays. All 2022 TUF 12th gen gaming laptops will be equipped with high refresh rate options. This includes up to a FHD 300Hz Adaptive Sync display. And for improved cooling, it will feature a redesigned 84-blade Arc Flow Fans for up to 13% better airflow. They will also have Thunderbolt 4 for additional peripherals, 90WHr battery, and fast charging technology.

TUF Dash F15
TUF Dash F15 is also revamped for 2022. It still retains its thin and light form factor, but with improvements under the hood. It has now a full 45W 12th Generation Intel CPU, up to a 10-core Intel Core i7-12650H. It will also feature a higher wattage NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3060 laptop GPU with MUX Switch.
Its screen also gets an upgrade, now sporting up to a QHD 165Hz Adaptive Sync display with 100% DCI-P3 coverage. This means gamers can enjoy a very enjoyable fast-paced gaming with a color accurate screen for content creation.
Despite the device being thin and light, the TUF Dash F15 is also equipped with a DDR5-4800MHz RAM, fast PCIe SSD, and Military Grade Durability. To keep it cool, it features a comprehensive cooling solution with the 84-blade Arc Flow Fans and anti-dust tunnels for longer operation. Thunderbolt 4, a new built-in HD camera, and Fast Charging Technology also round out the machine.
