vivo is preparing to roll out OriginOS 7 to 19 vivo smartphone models in the Philippines scheduled for October 2026.
The phased rollout of the updated operating system will target selected X and V Series devices. This enhances interface, performance, productivity tools, and connectivity. It consists of six batches, starting with the vivo X300 Pro, X300, X300 FE, X300 Ultra, and X Fold5. The X200 Series is set for November, with additional V Series models to follow in later months.
OriginOS 7 enhances smartphone usability with smoother interactions, better resource management, AI-assisted tools, and broader device connections. Key features include AI audio transcription, multitasking capabilities, and cross-device file sharing, facilitating seamless transitions between work, communication, and entertainment.
“An operating system update matters most when users can feel the difference in their everyday routines, whether they are switching between apps, organizing information from a meeting or moving files between devices. With OriginOS 7, we want to make these common tasks more intuitive while giving eligible users a clearer view of what to expect from the rollout.”
Liu Lu, vivo Philippines Brand Marketing Director
