The ROG Phone 5s series will hit the Philippine shores this December with a partnership with PUBG: NEW STATE Elite showmatches.
This December 8, 2021, Republic of Gamers will announce the Philippine launch of the ROG Phone 5s and 5s Pro. Mobile gamers and ROG fans can look forward to the boosted performance of ROG’s new line of gaming phones. The devices are powered by a Snapdragon 888+ Mobile Platform, up to 18GB of RAM, and the signature X Mode.
Other fan-favorite features of the gaming phone are also included in the new iterations. This includes the AirTrigger and Motion Controls, 6,000 mAh battery, 144Hz AMOLED Display, and the iconic GameFX audio system. The new unbeatable gaming phone will give users the ultimate gaming performance, including the best experience for all new PUBG: NEW STATE.
ROG Phone 5s x PUBG: NEW STATE Elite Showmatch
In addition, Republic of Gamers also announced a collaboration between the new gaming phones and PUBG: NEW STATE. It’s a next-generation battle royal mobile title from global gaming publisher KRAFTON. This exciting new collaboration will present a global series of elite showmatches with a combined prize pot of gaming gear worth over $50,000.
The campaign will feature a series of 100-player online tournaments across the EMEA and APAC regions. Over 20 top influencers will also join the battle and will also live-stream the matches on their social media accounts, allowing the entire world to watch the combat. Representing the Philippines in the showmatch are the popular streamers DoNnn and Tricia Potato. They will showcase their skills and hone their arsenal using ROG’s new gaming phone and will be livestreaming the match.
The overall winner will receive a full gaming hardware upgrade, as well as the new gaming phone. Prizes consists of the following:
