vivo Philippines officially unveils its newest addition to the Y series, the powerful yet affordable vivo Y02s.
The new vivo Y02s is an upgrade from the vivo Y01, and now also comes in a very thin 8mm body. It is vivo’s thinnest device in this price range. Though very slim, the new Y series phone is feature packed and has a huge 5,000 mAh battery capacity.
Power-Packed and Dependable
With its 5,000 mAh large capacity battery, users can enjoy many hours of browsing online or binge-watching their favorite Netflix series. A single full charge allows you to watch YouTube videos in High Definition for up to 18 hours. It can also run up to 20 hours of music playback on Spotify, and 7 hours of resource-intensive gaming like PUBG, or Mobile Legends.
Speaking of games, users will be able to fully immerse themselves thanks to its 6.51-inch HD+ Halo FullView Display. The display automatically adjusts brightness level depending on ambient light conditions. It also filters out harmful blue light, making it also a great screen to stream videos with. Multi-Turbo 5.5 and Ultra Game Modes also help in delivering a smooth, lag-free performance. And powered by a MediaTek Helio P35, along with 3G of RAM and 32GB of storage, it ensures smooth performance.
Slim and Stylish
With just 8.15mm of thickness and weighing in just 186g, the new vivo phone can easily fit in your pocket. Its 2.5D curvature and frame of its body is aesthetic and it also makes the device more comfortable to grip. The design on the back cover is also fingerprint and scratch resistant so it is always looking good.
The vivo Y02s will be available in two colorways: Flourite Black and Vibrant Blue. The Flourite Black variant gives off a classy shine with a touch of sophistication. Meanwhile, the Vibrant Blue comes alive with a beautiful pattern of dancing waves.
If you’re fond of taking selfies, the device features a 5MP Front Camera + Aura Screen Light. It can capture beautiful selfies even in low light conditions. The device also has an 8MP rear main shooter that’s complimented by vivo’s AI editing software that ensures great photographs.

The vivo Y02s has an SRP of PhP 6,499 and is now available for purchase online on the vivo website, Lazada, Shopee, and TikTok Shop. It will also be available on experience stores and kiosks nationwide starting August 20, 2022. Those who will purchase online are also eligible to receive a free limited FOOMEE Q4A05.
