The vivo V80 Lite has set a Guinness World Records title after completing a 32-hour and 37-minute continuous livestream.
The livestream was on August 11, 2026 in Chiang Mai, Thailand, and achieved the title of “The Longest Electronic Product Live Stream.” The V80 Lite device was tested for endurance, successfully operating for over 32 hours and 37 minutes of continuous broadcasting without interruption. This record attempt was independently monitored in accordance with GUINNESS WORLD RECORDS standards, demonstrating the device’s capability to sustain prolonged, intensive use.
Southeast Asian creators put the phone to the test
The record-setting livestream featured creators from Southeast Asia showcasing the V80 Lite. Participants included Tang Makkaporn, a doctor and content creator from Thailand; Aedy Ashraf, an actor from Malaysia; Vince Domingo, founder of Unbox Diaries in the Philippines; and Tuấn Ngọc, a technology creator from Vietnam.
Creators utilized smartphones for navigation, photography, gaming, and calls during activities in Chiang Mai. This added a regional dimension to the endurance challenge by uniting creators with diverse audiences and expertise in one extended test.
More than 32 hours on the clock
The V80 Lite successfully maintained a livestream for 32 hours and 37 minutes, completing its record attempt. This achievement occurred ahead of its official launch in the Philippines, where the smartphone will debut vivo’s 10,000mAh BlueVolt Battery, marking the largest battery capacity offered by vivo globally.
