The road to Miami begins. Filipino EA SPORTS FC 27 players have a chance to compete on the Red Bull Wings Cup.
The Red Bull Wings Cup is a new EA SPORTS FC 27 competition that gives everyday players the chance to compete for the opportunity to represent their country on a global stage. In collaboration with EA SPORTS and PlayStation, the competition invites players from nearly 80 countries to compete, regardless of skill level. Top performers will advance to their National Finals, with a chance to represent the Philippines at the World Finals in Miami, USA, in early 2027. The finals will blend competitive gaming with real-life football experiences as contenders vie to become its first champion.
The journey begins when players register for one of two leagues:
- The University League – where currently enrolled university students compete on PlayStation 5 consoles in on-campus qualifiers against other students from across Metro Manila and Cebu, playing EA SPORTS FC 27 Rush.
- The Open League – where players can log into PlayStation Tournaments on their PlayStation 5 consoles to compete online using their own squad, playing EA SPORTS FC 27 Ultimate Team.
Red Bull Wings Cup is available to all skill levels for individuals 18 and older residing in the Philippines. It features a University League from September 28 to October 16, 2026, and an Open League on October 17-18, 2026, with possible local terms and conditions.
The top players from the Open and University Leagues will advance to the National Finals on November 7, 2026, at Matchpoint Sportsbar. Eligible National Champions will have the opportunity to represent their country at the World Finals in Miami, facing international competitors.
