ASUS Republic of Gamers recently announced their latest 17.3-inch addition to their ROG Strix gaming laptop lineup; the Strix SCAR II (GL704).
The SCAR II features an industry-leading 17.3-inch display with a 144Hz refresh rate, 3ms response time, and complete sRGB coverage. All that screen in a compact 15.7-inch chassis. It is also equipped with the latest 8th Generation Intel processor (up to Core i&-8750H, and an NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1060 GPU with 6 GB of RAM. The Strix SCAR II also includes ROG RangeBoost technology, and the HyperCool Pro cooling system.
Armoury Crate
ASUS Republic of Gamers also released Armoury Crate, a unified platform that puts the most important settings at the gamer’s fingertips, which comes with the SCAR II. It currently covers system settings, Aura Sync lighting, and users can save changes to one of four profiles that automatically load for specific games and applications. There is also a companion Mobile Dashboard that extends the interface to Android and iOS devices, which allows remote monitoring and adjustment.
