Warner Bros. Japan just released the first full trailer for the upcoming live-action movie adaptation of Fullmetal Alchemist.
Fullmetal Alchemist is a live-action movie adaptation based on the famous anime and manga of the same name. The series follows two brothers, Edward and Alphonse Elric, as they become State Alchemists in order to find clues on finding the one thing that they believe that is needed to restore their bodies, the Philosopher’s Stone.

The trailer features Edward Elric in action using his Alchemy and Alphonse Elric doing some martial arts. There are also new footage of a few of the anime’s iconic characters such as Roy Mustang the Flame Alchemist, Winry Rockbell, and Maes Hughes. Also seen in the trailer are the Homunculi Lust, Envy, and Gluttony, which were the antagonists on the anime and manga series.
There are still a few more months until the movie’s release. So for people who are unfamiliar with the series, there are still plenty of time for you to get acquainted with the manga and anime.
The live-action adaptation of Fullmetal Alchemist will be released in Japan on December 1, 2017.
