DJI just announced their third-gen handheld smartphone stabilizer that folds up for easy packing; introducing the DJI Osmo Mobile 3.
The 3rd iteration of the Osmo Mobile is shorter and smaller than its predecessors. This means that it is easier for you to carry it around. And it being lighter, you can hold it for longer periods of time. With its 3-axis gimbal, it can effectively reduce shaky footage, delivering a super-smooth stabilized image.
There are also a few neat features that come with the small but powerful mobile gimbal. Features such as Gesture controls for selfies. It also has ActiveTrack 3.0 that incorporate deep learning and computer vision algorithms, resulting in smooth and reliable tracking technology. The device also has some creative shooting modes, such as Panorama, Timelapse, and Slow Motion. It also has a convenient Quick Roll function which allows you to transition from portrait to landscape mode without the hassle of time-consuming steps.
DJI is known for their drones, but they do make some awesome gimbals. And it has been a while since the company released a new product from the mobile gimbal category. The DJI Osmo Mobile 3 has a priced tag of Usd 119 (approximately Php 6,200). It is available at some international stores right now and will hit the Philippine shores soon.
