ASUS PH #4theSmile Campaign

ASUS Philippines brings smiles to those who can’t by launching their #4theSmile campaign in partnership with Operation Smile Philippines.

Operation Smile Philippines (OSP) is a non-stock, non-profit medical service organization that helps children with Cleft. It is a split or opening in the roof of the mouth, which affects a child’s speech, hearing, and other day-to-day functions. OSP says that it is estimated that a child born with cleft is born every 3 minutes.

The #4theSmile Campaign

Last August, ASUS Philippines announced its partnership with Operation Smile Philippines during the launch of the ZenFone 4 series, in line with their tagline, “We Love Selfie & Wefie”.

The campaign encourages end users to take selfies and wefies with the new ZenFone 4 series of smartphones and post it on social media with the hastag #4theSmile. With every selfie and wefie posted, ASUS Philippines pledges to donate Php 1 to support Operation Smile’s medical mission. The tech company aims to get roughly around 1,300,000 selfies and wefies combined before the year ends.

“There is a relationship that exists even between strangers. ASUS Philippines is here to prove just that by turning selfies and wefies into shared moments that go beyond the people within the frame and actually touch other people’s lives for the better”, shares George Su, ASUS Philippines Country Manager, also stating their new campaign philosopy – From ME to WE.

“Through this new partnership, we want our self-loving audience to take their selfies and wefies to another level by sharing their smiles to brighten the lives of thousands of children with cleft lips and palates, and help bring these children’s smiles to the world,” Su continued.
