ASUS recently released a video teasing their newest smartphone; the Zenfone 6. And it will be unveiled on May 16, 2019 (not on the 14th) at Valencia, Spain.
The video published begins to highlight all the previous Zenfone flagships, from the Zenfone 5 to the, well, the Zenfone 5 (LOL). The video then proceeds to tease the upcoming flagship with the taglines “The Revolution is Coming”, and “Defy Ordinary”, as well as the date and location of its unveiling.
As of now, there are no details about the upcoming phone. But basing on the video, it looks to have a very thin bezel. There is no notch on the top of the screen, and the front facing camera isn’t even visible. There is a white light that highlights the top of the phone, which could suggest either a slider (like the Mi Mix 3 and OPPO Find X) or an elevating camera mechanism (much like the Vivo NEX S). It isn’t really clear if there is a visible speaker/earpiece on top, it could be just too thin to notice, or they could have placed it underneath the screen just like the new LG G8 ThinQ.
There is still more than 2 months until the unveiling, and we hope more details would be teased or leaked.
The Zenfone 6 will be unveiled later this year on May 16, 2019. The event will take place at Valencia, Spain. You can check out the official ASUS Facebook page on that time for the live streaming of the unveiling.
