vivo PH announces 60 Second Masterpiece Short Film contest where aspiring filmmakers and enthusiasts can get a chance to win a vivo X80.
Open to all filmmakers and enthusiasts all over the Philippines, the contest will have the theme “Own Your Masterpiece”. Qualifies entries will have a chance to win the newly launched vivo flagship smartphone, the vivo X80, as well as other exciting prizes.
Creating a 60 second Masterpiece
The vivo short film contest encourages filmmakers and enthusiasts to find and showcase art in the ordinary. To qualify in the contest, the entry must be an original work and must feature specific film elements. Examples of these elements is a dolly shot, a low light scene, and wide-angle framing. Incorporating vivo products in the short film will also give participants a stronger edge to win prizes and awards.
Mechanics
- Create an original narrative piece that meets the following required conditions.
- Theme: Own Your Masterpiece
- Total Play Time: 60 seconds
- Aspect Ratio: 16:9
- Elements: Dolly Shot, Low Light Scene, Wide Angle Framing (Bonus: vivo product placement)
- Entries must be submitted via email to vivo60secondmasterpiece@gmail.com.
- The contest will run from June 18 until July 1, 2022.
The following will be observed to identify the winning entries:
- Best film & product placement – winners will be chosen by vivo Philippines through internal deliberation.
- People’s Choice Award – vivo Philippines will post the Top 10 entries on vivo PH’s Facebook page on July 5, 2022. The entry that will garner the highest number of shares, comments, and likes until July 12, 2022 will win the award.
