Sony raises the bar for best-in-class surround sound as they introduce their new HT-A9 and HT-A7000 home theater systems.
The new systems deliver a new and revolutionary multi-dimensional sound experience. Its new innovative surround sound technologies create an incredibly immersive soundscape for any music, film, or gaming content. They also announced the optional SA-SW5, SA-SW3 wireless subwoofers, and SA-RS3S wireless rear speakers.
HT-A9 Home Theater System Key Features
- Sony’s Unique 360 Spatial Sound Mapping Technology – With this technology, you can feel sound from every direction and distance. Sound Field Optimization uses dual microphones in each speaker to measure their relative height and position. 360 Spatial Sound Mapping then creates up to 12 phantom speakers from just 4 physical speakers.

HT-A7000 Soundbar Key Features

Optional Subwoofer and Rear Speaker

For rich bass, add the SA-SW5 wireless subwoofer with 300W of deep bass from a 180mm driver with passive radiator. You can also opt for the SA-SW3 wireless subwoofer with 200W of sound with 160mm driver. For even more cinematic thrills, add the SA-RS3S wireless rear speakers. It has 100W of wider surround sound and wall mount capability.

The HT-A9 (₱86,999), HT-A7000 (₱67,999), SA-SW3 (₱17,999), and SA-RS3S (₱15,999) are already available in the Philippines. The SA-SW5 (₱36,999) will be available in PH on November 19, 2021. You can get the them at any Sony Centre nationwide.
