SKY subscribers in Davao can now enjoy a better viewing experience with the new SKY On Demand box that’s rolling out in Davao and its surrounding province.
The SOD box enables access to SKYcable channels, iWant content, and streaming from Netflix, YouTube, and SKY’s very own streaming service for subscribers, SKY On Demand. Subscribers can watch popular and exclusive channels on SKYcable and easily switch to YouTube or Netflix with just one push of the button via the built-in access on the box.
“With the new SKY On Demand box, our SKY subscribers in Davao can now begin watching SKYcable shows or streaming content from either Netflix or YouTube with just one box. This is a perfect Christmas gift for us Dabawenyos,”
Jericho Marcos, SKY Davao General Manager, said.

The box also has other features such as picture-in-picture (PIP), and iRecord where you can schedule to record your favorite movie or show. A remote app is also available in Android and iOS where you can use your device to control the SOD box. You can also stream cable channels or private listening via the app.
“SKYcable would not be SKYcable without the trust of our subscribers. We are constantly innovating so we can give our SKY Kapamilyas a convenient and high-quality viewing experience whether on cable or online streaming services,”
Claudia Suarez, SKY’s Business Unit Head of Consumer Product Group, explained.

The SKY On Demand box will be available at a one-time upgrade fee of as low as Php 1,099 for existing SKYcable subscribers. Check out mysky.com.ph/sodbox for more information.
