realme 6i Launched – Disrupting the Sub-10k Segment

To match the lifestyle needs of Filipinos, realme Philippines had just launched the realme 6i, the first of their new 6-series line of smartphones.

The 6i promises a bang-for-the-buck experience, featuring a MediaTek Helio G80 SoC, a quad-camera set-up, and a 5,000 mAh battery. The 6i also boasts a 35% CPU performance boost over the previous realme 5.

Conquering the Arena

Running on the MediaTek Helio G80, it enhances the device’s power efficiency for longer gameplay and smoothens the performance of heavy-loading game engines. It is also equipped with a Mali G2 GPU. This guarantee real visual sense and more advanced image rendering. It offers 25% increase in GPU performance compared to its predecessor.

The 6i also sports a 5,000 mAh large-capacity battery, allowing users to enjoy hours of gaming, entertainment, and video streaming. It also comes with a 9V/2A charging kit that complement its 18W quick charge feature, ensuring fast-charging capability to always keep users up with their active lifestyle.

Camera Upgrades

The new 6i is equipped with a quad rear camera setup. It consists of an 8MP Ultra Wide-Angle Lens, 2MP Portrait Lens, 2MP Ultra-Macro Lens, and a 48MP Main Camera. The high-quality imaging performance lets users start taking pro-life shots and develop good content.

Its 16MP ultra-clear front facing camera uses a Quad Bayer intelligent pixel 4-in-1 technology. It synthesizes large pixels for better resolution and quality even in low light.

A Work of Art

Industrial design master Naoto Fukasawa is the designer for the new realme 6i. He’s the same genius behind the design of the realme X series Master Edition. Fukasawa, who is also in charge of product development and design at Japanese retail company MUJI, is famous for relatively simple yet striking designs.

The realme 6i has a classic and premium vibe featuring two trendy colors inspired by nature; White Milk and Green Tea. To achieve a matte visual and delicate finish, the back has been polished hundreds of times and underwent a unique spray coating process.

The realme 6i is available in two variants, 3GB RAM + 64GB storage and 4GB RAM + 128GB storage, priced at Php 7,990 and Php 9,990 respectively.
