During MWC (Mobile World Congress) Barcelona 2022, POCO announced the global launch of the POCO X4 Pro 5G and POCO M4 Pro.
POCO X4 Pro 5G is the brand’s latest smartphone that packs a flagship-level experience. It delivers all-around high-end performance for day-to-day use, gaming, and photography. It features 120Hz AMOLED display, 108MP camera, Snapdragon 5G processor, and 67W turbo charging. Meanwhile, the POCO M4 Pro is designed for those seeking an ultimate entertainment experience on-the-go. It packs a 90Hz AMOLED display, dual speakers, 64MP camera, and 33W Pro fast charging. The device is also powered by a high-performance MediaTek Helio G96.

POCO X4 Pro 5G – All-Around Flagship-Level Experience for Day-to-Day Use
The X4 Pro 5G’s features a large 6.7-inch AMOLED DotDisplay screen. It also operates at a 120Hz refresh rate for smooth and immersive true-to-life visual experience. Its 360Hz touch sampling rate also helps the device respond to every movement in no time. The display also features 2400 x 1080 FHD+ resolution that can automatically adjust its brightness to match its surroundings. In addition, it also has an SGS Eye Care Certification.
Under the hood is a Snapdragon 695 5G processor, bringing flagship-level speed and efficiency. In addition to 8GB of RAM, it offers an extra 3GB transformed from 256GB of ROM thanks to its Dynamic RAM Expansion Technology.
The new smartphone features a powerful 108MP camera at the helm of its camera array. It has a massive 1/1.52-inch sensor which captures more light for improved clarity thanks to its 9-in-1 binning technology. The camera array is also accompanied by an 8MP ultra-wide lens and a 2MP macro camera. On the front, is a 16MP selfie camera. It also sports a whopping 5,000mAh battery with 67W turbo charging. It can charge 70% of its battery in just 22 minutes, and can be fully charged in only 41 minutes.
POCO M4 Pro – Ultimate Entertainment Experience at an Unbeatable Price
The M4 Pro is an entertainment powerhouse that combines unbeatable value for money, quality, and performance. Its 6.43-inch screen uses AMOLED DotDisplay with 90Hz refresh rate and 180Hz touch sampling rate. The DCI-P3 wide gamut brings every color to life, and the display has a brightness rating of up to 1000 nits. It is also certified by SGS for both Eye Care Display and Seamless Display. Reading Mode 3.0 allows users to switch to a warmer color temperature to reduce eye strain, especially at night. Users can also add a paper texture to the text background for a more authentic experience.
Its triple camera setup is made up with a 64MP high-resolution main camera, 8MP ultra0wide camera, and a 2MP macro camera. And for the front, it has a 16MP selfie camera. It also comes with features such as slow-motion video, time-lapse video, and night mode.
Under the hood, it carries the MediaTek Helio G96 which give users the ultimate entertainment experience. And to ensure that it operates at peak performance, LiquidCool Techonology 1.0 Plus is designed to moderate temperature. Weighing in just 179.5g with a thickness of 8.09mm, the M4 Pro is also the lightest POCO smartphone to date. Though it is light, it is packed with a massive 5,000mAh battery that can last two days. It also features 33W Pro fast charging, fully charging the device in only an hour.
Price and Availability
The POCO X4 Pro 5G will come in three colors: Laser Black, Laser Blue, and POCO Yellow. It will be available in two variants. The 6GB+128GB variant will have a recommended retail price of ₱16,990. Meanwhile, the 8GB+256GB variant will have a recommended retail price of ₱17,990.
The POCO M4 Pro will also come in two variants and in three colors: Power Black, Cool Blue, and POCO Yellow. Its 6GB+128GB variant will have a recommended retail price of ₱12,990. And the 8GB+256GB variant will have a recommended retail price of ₱13,990.
There is no word yet on when the new devices will be available in the Philippines. Local availability will be announced soon.
