OPPO officially announces the OPPO A16K, its newest entry level smartphone contender that’s built for everyday practicality.
The OPPO A16K comes with an ergonomically designed handset, measuring at just 7.85 mm thickness and weighing only 175 g. In addition to its stunning appearance, the device is also a delight to hold. It has a 3D back cover that not only looks good, but also provides a smooth and comfortable grip.
For expanded viewing, the new entry level smartphone sports a 6.52-inch HD+ display. It is also fitted with All-Day Eye Care, which is a series of features that help ensure a healthier and more comfortable visual experience. The features include Sunlight Display, Moonlight Display, and AI Smart Backlight.
Powered by a MediaTek Helio G35, it delivers smooth performance at all times. It is further enhanced by a suite of system-level optimizations called System Booster. The A16K also keeps users charged all-day with the inclusion of a large 4,230 mAh battery. It also has an array of charging features to ensure users a safe and convenient charging experience such as Super Nighttime Standby, Optimized Night Charging, and Super Power Saving Mode.
Lastly, the A16K is equipped with a 13MP rear main camera, along with several upgraded features that help capture stunning images in a variety of situations. AI Palette can transform images into the style of popular reference images with one click. SoLoop on the other hand, is OPPO’s easy-to-use smart video editor that help users realize their unique creative styles.
Price and Availability
The OPPO A16K come in Blue and Black color variants. It will retail for ₱6,999 SRP and will be available for purchase starting November 3, 2021. Customers will be able to purchase the device at OPPO Brand Stores and partner dealers nationwide, as well its official stores on Shopee and Lazada.
