The newest OnePlus 11 concept phone was recently announced at Mobile World Congress 2023 in Barcelona, Spain.
The device features Active CryoFlux, a new active cooling technology in an imaginative design, redefining industry standards. The event also showcased the OnePlus 11 5G, the recently announced flagship device which demonstrates an in-built AR and ray tracing capability.

Active CryoFlux – Forward-Thinking Technology
The main feature of the concept phone is the Active CryoFlux. It is a game-changer in cooling technology, which can reduce the temperature up to 2.2°C. This improves the framerate by 3-4 fps during gameplay. It can also bring the temperature down when charging by 1.6°C, which shaves off 30-40 seconds from charging time.
Determined to push the limits, OnePlus has miniaturized the cooling capability of gaming PCs into a smartphone. The state-of-the-art cooling functions with the industry-grade ceramic piezoelectric micropumps at the center, connected to pipelines sandwich between an upper and lower diaphragm. It enables the liquid to circulate around the pipelines without significantly increasing the device’s weight and thichness.
To demonstrate the Active CryoFlux in terms of aesthetics, the device features a glass unibody, deeply curved for thinner bezels, with a side pull up height of 5.04mm. It also has a clear rear cover that delivers a mesmerizing view of the micro liquid flowing through the pipelines. The same aesthetic is also found in the camera lens, where the liquid flows through the camera in a halo, and the lens area is surrounded by Guillaché etching.
OnePlus 11 5G – Ray Tracing Technology and Snapdragon Space XR Platform
Supported by Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 Mobile Platform, the 11 5G comes with hardware accelerated ray tracing. To better help audiences experience in-game ray tracing technology, OnePlus has cooperated with Perfect World Games to showcase ray tracing in the Tower of Fantasy gameplay on the device.
The 11 5G is also the first Snapdragon Spaces ready phone, and serves as an entry point for the Snapdragon Spaces XR developer program. This allow developers to bring their XR ideas to life and explore the full potential of cutting-edge headworn AR.
OnePlus’ Ecosystem at MWC 2023
