The HUAWEI nova Y90 was just launched here in the Philippines, it is now open for pre-order from August 12 to 18, 2022 for PhP 11,999.
The new Y90 pays tribute to Huawei’s Space Ring design, while bringing impressive features. This includes a 6.7-inch HUAWEI Edgeless FullView Display, large 1000 mAh battery, 40W HUAWEI SuperCharge, as well as a large 128GB storage capacity. It also feature upgrades in its imaging capabilities, equipped with a 50MP AI Triple Camera. It also supports innovative features such as Super Night Mode, Front/Rear Dual-View Video, and AI Snapshot.
Impressive Inside and Out
Inspired by the universe, the new nova’s design evokes a spirit of infinite exploration of the unknown. It adopts a matte middle frame design with rich layers of light and shadow. Its back panel features a glitter sand texture that sparkles and shines like frost in the sunlight. The device also honors nature through its classic colors, depicting beauty of elegance. The Midnight Black colorway creates a sense of natural aesthetics. Meanwhile, Emerald Green and Crystal Blue are like art pieces carved by nature.
Equipped with a 6.7-inch HUAWEI Edgeless FullView Display, it supports up to 90Hz refresh rate and 270Hz touch sampling rate. Its ultra-narrow bezels also measures at only 1.05 mm with a high screen-to-body ratio of 94%. Lastly, the screen also supports features such as smooth screen dimming control, eye comfort mode, and e-book mode.

Priding itself on its photography, the Y90 features a High-Res 50MP Main Camera for capturing clear and sharp photos. It is also composed of a 2MP Depth Camera, 2MP Macro Camera for perfect bokeh and macro shots. In the front, it sports an 8MP Front Camera that supports portrait segmentation and bokeh effect to blur the background. Huawei Beauty Mode 5.1 also brings smoother skin tones and brighter images for the perfect selfie portrait.
The phone also features Super Night Mode to capture night shots that are bright and clear. The device also feature an AI Snapshot function. It can intelligently recognize a variety of motion scenes, and perceive the amplitude of moving people and objects in front of the camera in real-time.
