Garmin Tactix Delta Solar Edition Now Available in the Philippines

Garmin recently announced the expansion of its Solar range of smartwatches with the new Garmin tactix Delta Solar Edition.

The device is the 4th generation of the tactix family developed on the fēnix series platform. It has significantly increased battery life and new purpose-built functionality including mountain biking, climbing, skiing, and golf activities. This allows Filipinos to “Do What They Love Longer”.

Built to Military Standards

Built to military standards, the smartwatch has a rugged, sophisticated design. It also features an always-on 1.4-inch display, scratch resistant lens, black DLC-coated steel bezel, black PVD-coated steel rear cover, and all-new military-inspired black tactical nylon QuickFit band with reinforced stitching and exposed black metal hardware.

Night Vision

The device also uses solar charging to extend battery life and Power Manager mode to provide up to 21 days indoors and up to 24 days with sufficient solar exposure. It also includes night vision capability to effortlessly switch between daytime and nighttime view with a screen that can be read with night vision goggles. It also features stealth mode, which disables location sharing and wireless connectivity, and a kill switch to wipe all user memory.

Reliable Features

The tactix Delta also have a slew of reliable features such as Advanced Sleep Monitoring. It provides a detailed breakdown of the user’s light sleep, deep, and REM sleep stages. It also has Pulse Ox which gauge how well an individual’s body is absorbing oxygen, and Body Battery to optimize body energy reserves through health monitoring metrics and respiration data. This can be viewed on a dedicated widget that includes your stress score and sleep insights. It also includes topographic maps for outdoor adventures, ski maps for over 2,000 ski resorts worldwide, and over 41,000 golf courses.
