All-New Nissan Almera Launched in the Philippines

The all-new Nissan Almera had been launched in PH, offering first-in-class features from the competitive passenger car segment.

Introduced in a live virtual launch, the new Almera now has a 1.0L turbo engine. It also has Nissan Intelligent Mobility features, and bolder new design elements compared to the previous model.

Advanced Technology

The Nissan Intelligent Mobility (NIM) feature provides monitoring and intervention technology. This gives car owners added driving confidence and safety. These features include Intelligent Forward Collision Warning, Intelligent Forward Emergency Braking, Blind Spot Warning, Rear Cross Traffic Alert, and Intelligent Around View Monitor with Moving Object Detection.

Improved Performance

Now powered with a lighter 1.0L turbo engine, it delivers greater power and better fuel efficiency. It has a maximum power output of 100 PS, a class leading 152 Nm of torque, and a fuel efficiency of 23.3 kilometers per liter. This gives it better acceleration and better power output than the previous model.

Unmatched Style and Comfort

Its new design features a lower, wider, and longer exterior dimensions using Nissan’s Emotional Geometry design language. All while retaining a roomy interior space. Key elements of the design language include the V-motion grille, boomerang-shaped LED headlamps and tail lamps, LED Signature Daytime Running Lamps, kick-up C-pillars, and a floating roof.

The Nissan Almera’s interior has also been redesigned to accommodate a new 7-inch TFT Meter with Integrated Drive-Assist Display, infotainment screen, black leather interiors with contrast stitching, and a new D-shaped steering wheel with hands-free, meter, and voice recognition controls. The infotainment system provides convenience and seamless connectivity with an 8-inch Advanced Touchscreen Display with Apple CarPlay. This brings infotainment, navigation, safety, security, and more under a single platform, with connection via smartphone.

Price and Availability

The all-new Nissan Almera starts at ₱728,000 and will be available in six stunning colors: Cayenne Red, Gun Metallic, Galaxy Black, Premium Corona Orange, Brilliant Silver, and Pearl White. It will come with a vehicle warranty of 5 years or 150,000 kilometers, whichever comes first. The vehicle goes on sale starting October 8, 2021.
