HUAWEI PH is set to release a new HUAWEI nova Y Series smartphone, designed for young millenials and tech savvy Gen-Z, this August 12, 2022.
The upcoming midrange phone is designed for young millennials and the tech savvy Gen Z. It will feature advanced hardware, a better-looking design, and a more comprehensive interactive experience.
Iconic Design and Edgeless Display
The new nova Y Series is inspired by the universe, and will come with the iconic HUAWEI Space Ring design. Its camera module conveys a sense of aesthetic symmetry. Engraved with an exquisite CD texture, it’s very much similar to the premium looking HUAWEI Mate 40 Series. It will have a matte middle frame design, with a back panel that will sport a glitter sand texture. The device will also be available in three elegant colors that will depict the beauty of art pieces carved by nature.
An Edgeless FullView Display is also integrated into the new HUAWEI nova Y Series. It has ultra-narrow bezels and 94% screen-to-body ratio. This creates a more visual experience with a wider field of view. The display also adopts a classic flat screen with a single punch hole to present a simple, yet stylish, design. It also acts as an eye-protecting luminous screen that supports smooth screen dimming control. It automatically adjusts the screen’s brightness according to the ambient light.
Innovative Shooting with Upgraded Imaging
The new HUAWEI nova Y Series will be equipped with a high-res AI Triple Camera. It possesses excellent night shooting capabilities, and produces clear and sharp images. It also supports Front/Rear Dual-view Video for enhanced video content creation.
At the front, will be an AI-powered selfie camera. It help users achieve smoother skin tones and brighter aspects, as well as AI smart effects. It also supports an Auto HDR function which can automatically detect HDR scenes and adjust the image.
Excellent night shooting capabilities are also featured on the upcoming nova phone. Super Night Shot, 4-in-1 pixel binning technology, and RAW multi-frame fusion algorithm improves the photo’s dynamic range. This results in a bright and clear night shot in the highest image quality.
Long-Lasting Battery Life with Upgraded Charging
The new mid-ranger from HUAWEI is equipped with a 5000 mAh battery. It offers a longer battery life compared to other smartphones in its price range. It is alleged to support up to 34 hours of talking on the phone, 15 hours of watching videos online, 12 hours of gaming, 12 hours of scrolling through short videos, and even up to 418 hours of standby time.
The device will also come with an upgraded 40W Pyramid Structure HUAWEI SuperCharge. It can intelligently coordinate the charging voltage and electric current according to the device’s battery life. It can intelligently control its charging capacity as well.
