Japanese global apparel retailer, UNIQLO, just announced the date for the launch of the official UNIQLO Online Store in the Philippines.
Last month, the Japanese clothing brand announced that they will be launching their official online store. Now, we finally get a launch date, the online event will be held on July 16, 2020.
“The launch of the UNIQLO online store further strengthens our presence in the Philippines, and brings greater convenience to our customers here. An online store will provide local customers a faster and easier way of purchasing their favorite LifeWear items,”
said Masayoshi Nakamura, COO, UNIQLO Philippines.
As the brand previously stated, online shopping is a very viable option for consumers. This statement is true especially during this time with the whole pandemic going on in the world. With social distancing being practiced and a strong demand for online stores, it is wise for the LifeWear apparel to venture online. It will also bring the brand closer to both new and existing customers, providing a new and convenient shopping experience to complement its much-loved network of retail locations across the Philippines.
The brand will also be featuring new Extra Sizes to their upcoming collections; sizes such as SX, XXL, XXXL. With this, they would be able to accommodate more customers with different body types.
The official UNIQLO Online Store will be launched live online on July 16, 2020. The livestream event can be viewed on UNIQLO Philippines’ Facebook page on that day at 11AM. Musical performance by Leila Alcasid will also be featured during the online live event, as well as celebrity stylists Pam Quiñones and Bea Constantino. The online store will be available on both the UNIQLO PH website, and via its mobile app which customers can download on Google Play Store and Apple App Store.
