Global apparel retailer UNIQLO has launched its latest Detective Conan UT collection commemorating the series.
This collection is also part of the celebration of the release of the new film, “Detective Conan: The Black Iron Submarine”. The lineup includes a special illustration that Mr. Aoyama drew of a heart-rending scene between Ai Haibara and Shinichi Kudo. The UT collection is already available in all UNIQLO branches nationwide.
The Manga and Anime Series
Detective Conan is a hugely famous Japanese detective Manga and Anime series. The story follows the high school detective Shinichi Kudo, whose body was transformed into that of an elementary school-age child while investigating a mysterious organization and generally solved a multitude of cases by impersonating his childhood best friend’s father and various other characters.
Detective Conan UT Collection
The designs exclusive to this collection are key scenes from the manga and anime series. It feature popular characters such as Ran Mori, Kid the Phantom Thief, Shuichi Akai, and Bourbon. The design with Mr. Aoyama’s illustration was taken from the episode “Reunion with The Black Organization”. It was chosen as the best episode in a poll which was held under the commemoration for the 100th volume of the Detective Conan (Case Closed) manga series. You can check out some of the designs below.
The new Detective Conan (Case Closed) UT Collection is now available in all UNIQLO stores nationwide and on UNIQLO.com. It will come with a price tag of PHP 790 each. Customers can also get a limited edition sticker when they purchase a Detective Conan (Case Closed) UT.
