The Sony Xperia Touch is Sony’s new smart mobile projector. But what is it exactly? And what awesome stuff can you do with it?
1. Turn any flat surface into a screen
The device is equipped with Sony’s SXRD display technology which turns any flat surface into a 23-inch screen with either a vertical or horizontal ultra-throw projection. You can place it on the table against a wall and turn it into an instant mini theater. You can even project video calls for hassle-free conversations.
2. Fluid interface
The device is also equipped with an infrared light and real time detection by its built-in camera. This results in the projection being a touchscreen as well.
3. Powered by Android
The device runs on Android 7.0 Nougat, which means install any app or games from Google Play Store will work on it. You can play games with it or install your favorite streaming service such as Netflix and iFlix, and binge watch your favorite movies and shows.
4. Versatile
Because of its ability to project on any flat surface, you can use it on the table and project recipes while cooking and baking. You can also watch instructional videos on YouTube such as exercise, repair videos, or DIY projects.
5. Future-proof
The Sony Xperia Touch is not just the company’s latest tech, it is also a new platform for developers to crate applications for. There are many possibilities since you can do lots of cool things on the device.
