LG Philippines, co-presented by EMCOR, brought LG xboom IDOL 2026 to Davao, filling the EMCOR Atrium with music, cheers, and rising talent.
LG xboom IDOL 2026 aims to identify talented aspiring singers and dancers throughout the Philippines. It provides a platform for performers to display their skills and confidence before a live audience, all while experiencing the vibrant sound of LG xboom. Ten semi-finalists were chosen from 18 registrants, with eight performers presenting their unique styles and energy during the competition.
Hosted by OOO, the event transformed the atrium into a vibrant music celebration. It featured contestants performing for an enthusiastic audience, complemented by a special intermission performance by OOO.
Roxanne Jamora’s Moment
By the end of the competition, Merry Grace Simbajon, Cristine Joyce “CJ” Bunao, and Roxanne Jamora were the top performers. Roxanne Jamora won with an average score of 97.58%, earning the title of LG xboom IDOL 2026 Mindanao Grand Finalist, along with a trophy and certificate. Other semi-finalists received medals and certificates for their performances.
A Stage Built for Big Voices and Bigger Moments
The LG xboom Stage 501 is designed to enhance singing, karaoke, and live performances with powerful sound and engaging features. It makes it ideal for both large events and intimate gatherings.
This year’s elimination rounds featured exciting prizes: winners received an LG xboom Stage 501 and ₱5,000, while other selected performers earned an LG xboom Mini and ₱2,000.
The prize structure for the competition offers substantial rewards: 5th place wins ₱10,000 and a 50-inch LG Nano UHD 4K Smart TV; 3rd and 4th places each receive ₱20,000 and a 50-inch LG Nano UHD 4K Smart TV; 2nd place earns ₱50,000 and a 55-inch LG Nano UHD 4K Smart TV; while 1st place scores ₱100,000 and a trip for two to Seoul, South Korea.
Bringing More People Closer to the Music
During the event, the engaged crowd contributed to the atmosphere by cheering, singing, and participating in each performance, with additional excitement generated by the raffle of 10 LG xboom Minis to audience members.
