“foodpanda was thrilled to have immersed ourselves in the vibrant Kadayawan festivities. By actively participating in various Kadayawan events, we hope we were able to bring added joy and a slew of prizes to both the Dabawenyos and loyal app users.”
Patricia Jacinto, foodpanda Philippines Growth & Marketing Director.

With the Kada-kada Like A Panda initiative, foodpanda has also played a significant role in some of the festival’s prominent competitions. They served as a special judge in events such as Indak Indak sa Kadalanan, Hiyas ng Kadayawan, and Hudyaka sa Kadayawan. They awarded special prizes to individual and/or group contenders who showcased outstanding performances.

Starting strong with the Kadayawan festivities, foodpanda partnered with local favorite Mamastill Atbp. for the “Paying It Forward Free Pastil” project. This was held in the bustling Roxas Night Market. Pastil is a famous local delicacy, and was given away to everyone who gives life to the night market. This included hardworking vendors, vigilant police officers, special task force members, and the tireless street sweepers. You can check out a gastronomic video from Mamastill Atbp. below.
