Edukasyon.ph, the leading education technology startup in the Philippines, just announced the launch of their Mindanao-based operations.
The expansion of its operations to Mindanao allows the company to actively engage with Mindanaoan youth, as well as its growing network of educational and institutional partners. There are more than 20 schools in the region have already joined Edukasyon’s community, this includes Ateneo de Davao University, University of the Immaculate Conception, and Philippine Women’s College.

A media event was hosted for the launch, headed by Edukasyon’s Mindanao Head Charmaine Vanta, and Head of Public Affairs Rianna Puno, together with the rest of the local team; Dave Laurentz Alvarez, Vanessa Combater, and Camille Petallo.

Ateneo de Davao University’s Promotions Manager, Gian Carlo Tanconcian, was also in attendance and shared his experience partnering with Edukasyon.ph. He notes that up to 40% of incoming students from February to May 2019 were coursed through the online platform.
“In 2018 alone, more than 2 million students from Mindanao visited the Edukasyon platform. We look forward to building up our presence and partnerships in the region to enable us to empower even more Filipino youth.”
Says Edukasyon CEO and Founder Henry Motte-Muñoz.

One advantage of the of the platform is that people living outside the City of the school can just login to inquire and apply. They don’t have to travel just to inquire, which would waste precious time and effort.
Besides searching and applying for universities, you can also check out scholarships offered. Vanta also shared more about Edukasyon’s upcoming projects in other local cities, including General Santos City and Cagayan de Oro, where the team is headed in June. You can check out the platform at Edukasyon.ph.
