Avengers Endgame is certainly the most awaited movie of 2019. And if you haven’t seen it yet, here are some tips to help you enjoy it more. (NO Spoilers)
I actually already watched the film 3 times already on 3 different cinemas; twice on the 1st day and another the next day. And here are the things that I think you should absolutely know before watching Avengers Endgame.
- Pee before going in the cinema
As you may already know, the film is 3 hours long. So, it is advisable to go pee before going in so you wouldn’t have to go out midway through the film. There may be certain times in the movie where you can go out and pee, but I would recommend you not miss a single second of it. (Seriously, Theaters should really have some sort of screen in their restrooms, so movie goers don’t miss a thing. LOL)
- Don’t order large drinks
You shouldn’t buy drinks at all really. But if you absolutely have to buy one, don’t buy the large ones so that you won’t fill your bladder too fast.
- Bring a jacket/coat
I do bring/wear on whenever I watch a movie in theaters. And this film is 3 hour long, that’s a specially long playtime and it will get a bit chilly.
- Come to the cinema early
There is a scene right before the logo that start immediately without warning. It was so immediate that I initially thought I was still watching another trailer. From my 3 screenings, I learned that there are only 3 trailers before the film, then it immediately starts. Even the trailers’ order is the same. It’s The Lion King, Aladdin, Toy Story 4, then the film immediate starts without warning.
- For women, wear waterproof makeup
Yes, you will cry. Well if you’re strong enough you may not cry, but you certainly will tear up. Unless you’re dead inside. A friend of mine (whose name I shall not say) ruined her makeup because she cried like 5 times.
- Watch the previous 21 MCU movies
This isn’t actually a must do because the movie can stand on its own. The only prerequisite would be to watch Avengers Infinity War. But if you have already seen all the previous movies, you would enjoy Endgame 100x more.
- There is no mid-credit/post-credit scene
Yes, you can leave right away when the end credits start rolling. There is no mid-credit or post-credit scene. There is, however, a some sort of audio thing at the end. Kinda like the sound of metals clanking. But we’ll talk more about it on another article or video.
- Watch the movie again
This goes without saying, but you should watch the movie again. There are tons of Easter eggs and cameos in the film that I didn’t actually notice them on the first screenings.
Take note of these things and you should enjoy Avengers Endgame. And on a final note, please respect those who haven’t seen the movie yet and don’t spoil it for them. Remember #ThanosDemandsYourSilence so #DontSpoilTheEndgame.
