Another fairy tale comes to life as Walt Disney Pictures releases its first trailer for Beauty and the Beast, a live-action retelling of their animated classic.
Disney invites fans to be their guest on the return of Beauty and the Beast to the big screen, this time in live-action form. Fans were ecstatic when it was announced that Emma Watson would take the role of Belle. Now we’ll see a glimpse of here and the iconic rose from the trailer.
Beauty and the Beast Trailer
The trailer features familiar scenes from the animated classic brought to life in live-action format. It is safe to say that most scenes in the upcoming movie would probably be the same in the animated classic. Whether it is good or bad depends entirely on the audience.
Beauty and the Beast stars Emma Watson as Belle, Dan Stevens as the Beast, Luke Evans as Gaston, Kevin Kline as Maurice, Josh Gad as Lefou, Ewan McGregor as Lumiere (candelabra), Ian McKellen as Cogsworth (mantel clock), Emma Thompson as Mrs. Potts (teapot), Stanley Tucci as Maestro Cadenza (harpsichord), Gugu Mbatha-Raw as Plumette (feather duster), and Audra McDonald as Madame Garderobe (wardrobe). Directed by Bill Cordon and produced by David Hoberman and Todd Lieberman, along with composer Alan Menken. The movie is scheduled to be released on March 17, 2017.
