Republic of Gamers Philippines has announced their 2023 13th Gen ROG gaming laptops with a slew of significant updates.
The new lineup will feature Intel’s latest 13th gen processor. It will also include next-gen GPUs, redesigned chassis, improved intelligent cooling design, and eye-popping 16- and 18-inch displays.
An All-New Zephyrus M16
Built with gamers and creators in mind, the Zephyrus M16 has been redesigned from the ground up with even more refined feel and upgraded performance. Its new chassis design allows for a larger, full-width heatsink into the machine paired with ROG’s Tri-Fan Technology. It routes air from three fans through precisely calculated cutouts toward the heatsink for more efficient cooling. This allows the Zephyrus M16 to reach 20W higher than last year’s model. This also makes it able to push the top-tier Intel Core i9-13900H processor and NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4090 laptop GPU as far as possible.
The laptop also features the Nebula HDR display powered by a Mini LED backlight. Its individual zones can brighten and dim individually for stunning contrast. It has up to 1100 nits of peak brightness, as well as having QHD resolution at a 250Hz refresh rate.
ROG has also pushed the craftsmanship to new heights with a new mirror-polishing technique. It is combined with the new Off Black color, which uses an exclusive nano-sandblasting finish for fingerprint resistance.
Lastly, the Zephyrus M16 is the second laptop ever to feature ROG’s iconic AniMe Matrix Display. The larger, 16-inch canvas allows for a larger, more beautiful animations than ever.

Strix and SCAR Lineups – Pushing the Gaming Boundaries
The Strix series is powered by the latest and greatest chips from Intel and NVIDIA. The Strix SCAR 18 features an Intel Core i9-13980HX processor with 24 cores and 32 threads. Alongside it is an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4090 laptop GPU capable of up to 175 watts, for a total system power of 240W. A MUX Switch with NVIDIA Advanced Optimus intelligently ensures optimal frame rates when plugged in, and better battery life when untethered, with no manual intervention needed.
On the other hand, the Strix G16 and Strix G18 are powered by up to an Intel Core i9-13980HX CPU and an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4070 laptop GPU. It can power up to 140W using Dynamic Boost and the same MUX Switch with Advanced Optimus.
The redesigned 16- and 18-inch Strix laptops allow for an all-new Intelligent Cooling suite., featuring ROG’s Tri-Fan Technology. It also includes an enlarged version of the full width heatsink from the Flow X16. This larger heatsink increases surface area for heat dissipation by up to 92.23% compared to last year’s models. It’s also paired with new full-surround vents to ensure next-level airflow. Combined with Conductonaut Extreme liquid metal on both the CPU and GPU with 7 heat pipes, the new solution allows for higher-than-ever TGPs.
2023’s n32 18-inch Strix SCAR model will be available with up to WQXGA 240Hz displays, while the Strix 16 and 18 devices offer up to WUXGA 165Hz display. Dolby Vision also offer richer, brighter, and livelier contents. This offer creators the ability to film and edit their streams, videos, and other content in a format commonly used by industry professionals.

New Core Tech Across the TUF Gaming F15
Included in the 2023 13th Gen ROG gaming laptops is the ASUS TUF Gaming F15. It features up to a 13th Gen Intel Core i7-13700H processor, and the latest NVIDIA GeForce RTX 40 Series Laptop GPU with G-SYNC support and Dynamic Boost.
The ASUS TUF Gaming F15 also features a MUX Switch with NVIDIA Advanced Optimus to ensure next-level performance. A MUX Switch bypass the integrated graphics when gaming, increasing performance and reducing latency. And NVIDIA Advanced Optimus allows this process to happen automatically. This give gamers increased performance in games without needing to press a single button.
For cooling, the laptop is equipped with a pair of 84-blade Arc Flow Fans to handle its high-power CPU. These fans provide up to 13% more airflow than their predecessor, despite being quieter.
