This is Your Last Chance to Upgrade to Windows 10 For Free

Last year, Microsoft released their newest operating system, Windows 10. And with its release they offered it as a free upgrade for Windows 7 and Windows 8/8.1 users for one year. But the end of the free upgrade is just around the corner.

On July 29, 2015, Microsoft released Windows 10 and offered as a free upgrade for a year. Which means that the last day you can upgrade for free is on Friday (July 29, 2016). Although there are mixed reviews on the operating system. I, however, found it not too bad. In fact, I personally love it. You can also read about Gian’s Windows 10 experience here, which he wrote last year.

Now most of you who love Windows 7 might not want to upgrade, especially gamers. But the fact of the matter is, Microsoft may stop support for Windows 7 anytime soon. And when you do upgrade to Windows 10 afterwards, you may need to buy the OS at around $100 or so.

I definitely advise that you should avail the free upgrade before Friday (July 29, 2016) ends. You can find the free upgrade on Windows Update. Plus I’ve heard that there will be lots of tweaks and features coming with the Windows 10 Anniversary Update that’s coming this August.
