ASUS and Republic of Gamers has announced the ROG Swift OLED PG27UCDM, the world’s first 27” 4K OLED gaming monitor.
The monitor uses 4th gen ROG QD-OLED with superior visuals and cutting edge features setting a new standard for gaming display. With 166ppi pixel density it’s sharp and text is crisp. Whether you’re gaming or working, it’s clearer. The display also has ROG OLED Anti-Flicker 2.0. Flicker is minimized for a smoother experience during long gaming sessions.
ROG Swift OLED PG27UCDM
The ROG Swift OLED PG27UCDM is the world’s first 27-inch 4K OLED gaming monitor. It boasts a 240Hz refresh rate and 0.03ms response time for supersmooth visuals. It also supports VESA DisplayHDR™ 400 True Black, Dolby Vision, and HDR10 modes, and offers connectivity options.
ROG OLED Anti-Flicker 2.0 technology
With ROG OLED Anti-Flicker 2.0 technology, this monitor minimizes onscreen flicker, making gaming and viewing more comfortable. It incorporates a sophisticated luminance-compensation algorithm that enhances pixel brightness during changes in refresh rates. As a result, flicker is reduced by 20% compared to earlier models. Additionally, the Refresh Rate Cap feature enables users to limit the monitor’s refresh rate, offering three preset options.
ROG OLED Care Pro with Neo Proximity Sensor
Additionally, the monitor now comes with the ROG OLED Care Pro suite. This includes a Neo Proximity Sensor that effectively detects how far the user is from the monitor. This feature helps prevent burn-in and restores the onscreen content when the user comes back. The detection range can be adjusted to maintain an ergonomic viewing position. Other OLED protection features include pixel cleaning, a screen saver, taskbar detection, and a three-year warranty.
Availability and Pricing
The ASUS ROG Swift OLED PG27UCDM will be available in the Philippines starting on the first week of April 2025. Price will be around PHP 73,000 to PHP 75,000, final local SRP is still to be disclosed.
