For the first time ever, the Red Bull Half Court streetball tournament is coming here in Davao City for their Davao Qualifiers.
The Davao leg of the unique basketball tournament will take place on April 6, 2024 at Ateneo de Davao University. It will bring together some of the best 3 on 3 streetball players in the region, as well as showcase the incredible athleticism, skill, and determination of the participants. The competition is designed for young aspiring ballers who want to bring their skills to a global stage. It will feature a 3-on-3 format following FIBA’s basketball rules.
Participants will battle it out on the half-court for a chance to advance to the national finals where they will be competing against fellow regional champions, and wildcard teams made up of professional basketball players. National winners will represent the Philippines at the Red Bull Half Court World Finals. This will be held at the home of basketball, New York City.
The tournament is open to all men and women above the age of 18. All participating teams must have 4 players, with the 4th player as a reserve or backup. You can read more about the streetball tournament on the link below.
