Smart Communications is committed to support Davao City’s tourism and development as they once again partner with the organizers of the city’s biggest annual event, the Kadayawan Festival 2016.Last Monday (August 15, 2016), Smart joined the Opening Ceremonies of Kadayawan 2016 held at the Great Lawn in People’s Park. They will also be supporting the Great Kadayawan Trade Fair at the Davao Convention and Trade Center on August 18, 2016 (Thursday), Dula sa Kadayawan at the Crocodile Park Football Grounds on August 19, 2016 (Friday), and of course Kadayawan Invasion on August 20, 2016 (Saturday) which is also held at the Crocodile Park Football Grounds.
Smart said that Davao City will soon be covered with high-speed mobile broadband service, as part of their three-year plan to cover 95% of the country’s cities and municipalities. You can read more about it here.
“Starting here in Davao City, we are accelerating our LTE deployment because that is what will enable us to deliver faster, more reliable and affordable Internet services,” said Ramon R. Isberto, head of Public Affairs at PLDT and Smart.
With Smart and PLDT working on improving data traffic here in Mindanao, we should expect to feel the improvements soon.
