OPPO Philippines just launched their latest, and most talked about flagship in the country, the OPPO F5. Here’s what you need to know about the device.
The new flagship sports a very wide screen with some great specs. It has a 16-megapixel rear facing camera, and a 20-megapixel front facing one. Which means that the device’s main feature centers on selfies much like OPPO’s previous phones.
The most prominent feature of the phone is their so called A.I. Beauty Recognition technology. They claim that the F5’s 20MP front camera brings out the best selfies with the help of complex algorithms from its Artificial Technology.
Another special function is its Facial Unlock feature. You just simply place your face in front of the front camera and the device immediately unlocks. There is also a fingerprint sensor at the back of the phone so you can still choose to use your face or fingerprint to unlock the device.

The OPPO F5 comes in Gold, Black, and Red and is priced at Php 15,990. Pre-orders are already ongoing for the device and it comes with a free Bluetooth speaker worth Php 2,990. OPPO is expected to release the device by next week.
